Removing and installing water pump

The water pump is removed for access to other parts, as well as for its repair or replacement if noise occurs during operation, the level of which exceeds the usual level and which appears when a large radial play of the pump shaft is formed

We remove the oil receiver when repairing the engine or when the oil receiver mesh is clogged, and the engine is starved of oil

You will need: wrenches "for 10", "for 12", "for 14", heads "for 15", "for 19", a hammer

Remove the cylinder head

The head of the block can be removed with the receiver and exhaust manifold

For lapping the valves, it is most convenient to use a special mechanical device (reversible drill)

The durability of the repaired engine largely depends on the bench run-in and the mode of its operation on the car for the first 6000 km of run
