Brake hoses and tubes are replaced in case of damage
It is also recommended to replace hoses and pipes of the brake system after 150,000 km of vehicle run or after five years of vehicle operation
Replacing brake hoses
The car has four brake hoses
Two hoses installed to connect the rear pipes to the working brake cylinders of the rear wheels
Two front hoses for connecting the brake pipes to the working cylinders of the brake mechanisms of the front wheels
To work, you will need a special wrench for 10 brake pipes
To replace the front hoses, remove the wheel from the side of the work being performed
Disconnect the brake hose holder from the shock strut by unscrewing its fastening bolt
We unscrew the tube fastening nut, keeping the upper end of the hose from turning, and disconnect the tube
We plug the tube hole with a protective cap from the brake cylinder air release valve
Remove the locking bracket from the upper hose end and remove the hose end from the bracket hole on the body
We unscrew the bolt fitting that secures the lower end of the hose to the working cylinder of the front wheel brake mechanism and remove the hose
Install the new hose in reverse order
The aluminum sealing washers located on both sides of the hose head need to be replaced
The rest of the brake hoses are replaced in the same way
After replacing the hoses, we bleed the brake system
Replacing brake pipes
In the article, we will consider replacing the tube connecting the ABS module with a hose with a hose attached to the rear left wheel brake slave cylinder.
The rest of the tubes are removed in almost the same way, the only difference is in the places where their holders are attached to the body
We install the car on a lift or a viewing ditch
We unscrew the nut that fastens the tube to the ABS module, which goes to the working cylinder of the brake mechanism of the left rear wheel
The designations of attached tubes are marked on the ABS module.
Next to the tube going to the working cylinder of the left rear wheel, the designation "RL" is applied
Unscrew the nut securing the tube to the hose attached to the working cylinder of the brake mechanism of the left rear wheel, and disconnect the tube
Unscrew the bolt securing the front pipe holder to the base of the body
Remove the holder, and remove the tube to be replaced from the piping block
Remove the covers of the remaining pipeline holders, completely free the tube to be replaced and remove it
Installing a new tube in o fraternal order
After replacing the tube, we bleed the brake system
