Disassembling the carburetor K-151, K-151D
It is not recommended to unscrew the screws securing the throttle valves on the axles and remove the dampers unless absolutely necessary, as their displacement can lead to jamming of the dampers in the channels
How carburetors work
The carburetor is used to create a fuel-air emulsion, depending on the conditions and specified operating modes of the engine cylinders
K-151, K-151D carburetors are installed on engines of model 402 and 4021.
The K-151 carburetor (Fig. 1) consists of three main detachable parts connected through sealing gaskets with screws
For lapping the valves, it is most convenient to use a special mechanical device (reversible drill). In addition, ready-made manual valve holders are available
The head of the block can be removed with the receiver and exhaust manifold
You will need: a hex wrench “6”, heads “12”, “13”, “14”, a small chisel, a hammer
Drain the cooling system
According to the recommendations of the factory, the alternator belt should be replaced after 15 thousand km
You will need: 12" wrench and socket, 17" wrench, 6" hex wrench
If the oil leak from under the cylinder head cover could not be eliminated by tightening the cover bolts, replace its gasket
Oil pump - gear, with internal gears and pressure reducing valve
Engine lubrication system - combined: under pressure and splashing
