We remove the pan when replacing the gasket or when repairing the engine
We remove the oil pump if a defect occurs - a decrease in oil pressure.
A decrease in pressure may be due to a clogged oil receiver.
It is also possible to reduce the pressure due to a malfunction of the pressure reducing valve, wear of the parts of the pump itself.
If the oil receiver screen is clogged, then wash it and blow it out.
Before removing the oil receiver, you need to remove the engine pan. The oil pan still needs to be removed when replacing the gasket.
