Removing and installing windshield wiper motor
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Remove the windshield wiper with brushes.
Remove the bulkhead grille.
Remove in the order shown in Figure 1.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the windshield wiper arm with brush.
Disassembly and assembly of the windshield wiper motor
Disconnect the windshield wiper link from the wiper motor.
Remove the wiper rod.
Disassemble in the order shown in Figure 2.
Reassemble in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the windshield wiper arm with brush after installation.
Checking the windshield wiper motor
Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
Apply voltage from the positive battery terminal to terminal "E" or "D"; Connect terminal "B" to body ground, check the operation of the windshield wiper motor as shown in the table.
Disconnect the positive battery terminal from the "E" terminal of the motor with the wipers running.
Check that the wipers do not stop in their original position.
Connect terminals "A" and "D" of the motor and connect terminal "C" to the positive terminal of the battery.
Make sure the wipers run at low speed again, then stop at their original position (fig. 3).
If not, replace the windshield wiper motor.
Removing and installing windshield wiper arm with brush
Disassemble in the order shown in Figure 4.
Before installing the wipers, clean the splines of the axles of the windshield wiper arms using a wire brush (Fig. 5)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Adjust the windshield wiper arm with brush.

Turn on the windshield wiper motor and return the wiper arms to their original position
Install the windshield wiper arms. as shown in Figure 6.
