Clutch pedal height adjustment
Measure the distance from the pedal pad to the floor covering.
If necessary, adjust the height of the clutch pedal.
To do this, loosen the lock nut "A" and turn the adjusting bolt (B) until the required clutch pedal height is set.
Tighten the locknut after adjustment (fig. 1).
Pedal position height: 210-216 mm.
Checking and adjusting the free play of the clutch pedal
Depress the clutch pedal until resistance appears.
Adjust the clutch pedal free play if necessary.
To do this, loosen the lock nut "C" and turn the stem "D" until the required free play of the clutch pedal is set.
Tighten the locknut after adjustment (fig. 2).
Pedal free play: 1-3mm. Stem free play: 0.1–0.5 mm.
Checking the clutch release position
Pull out the parking brake until the wheels lock.
Start the engine and let it idle.
With the clutch pedal not depressed, slowly engage reverse gear.
Lock the shift lever in position when the gears engage.
Slowly depress the clutch pedal.
Stop the clutch pedal when the noise of the gears stops (clutch disengaged position).
Measure distance A (distance from clutch disengaged position to fully depressed position) and clutch pedal travel.
Make sure distance "A" and clutch pedal travel are correct (fig. 3).
Distance "A": 20 mm. Pedal travel: 140 mm.
