We remove the wiper and repair it if the wiper motor or trapezoid fails
To complete the task, you will need tools: a wrench for 24, Torx T-30, a head for 10, a plastic mounting spatula and a set of screwdrivers.
We prepare the car, raise the hood, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the protective cap from the brush arm nut
Unscrew the nut with a 13 spanner
Remove the lever with the brush from the wiper shaft. We also remove the lever on the other side.
Remove the seal from the front bulkhead
Remove the seal from the mudguard of the engine compartment
Using a screwdriver or a mounting plastic spatula, pry off the pin of the piston for fastening the left windshield lining
Removing the piston

Using a screwdriver, we press the lock of the wire block
Disconnect the block from the connector of the gear motor (shown on the removed block of wires)
Remove the protective cap from the cleaner nut
Unscrew the nut with a 24 spanner
Remove the washer and seal from the cleaner sleeve.
We perform the same operations on the other cleaner sleeve
With a 10 head, unscrew the cleaner mounting bolt
Remove the windscreen cleaner
With a needle file or a marker, mark the position of the crank relative to the motor-reducer shaft
Unscrew the crank nut with a 13 spanner
Remove the crank from the gearmotor shaft
Using a Torx T-30 wrench, unscrew the three screws securing the gearmotor to the cleaner bracket
Remove the geared motor
Install the gear motor in the reverse order.
To set the gearmotor shaft to its original position, we connect a block of wires to the gearmotor.
We put on the negative battery terminal
Turn on the gear motor with the steering column switch.
Turn off the cleaner, after which we wait for the gear motor shaft to stop. In this position, set the crank on the mark.
If we install a new gearmotor
We install the crank on the shaft of the gear motor, in the position shown in the photo.
Tighten the crank nut.
We carry out the further installation of the windshield wiper in the reverse order.
When installing the brush arms on the cleaner shafts, please note that the left brush arm is 10.0 mm longer than the right brush arm.
Replacing the rear door wiper
The rear door glass wiper mechanism is secured with rivets. We replace in case of failure of the gear motor.
To drill the rivets, you will need a drill with an 8 mm drill bit.
Preparing the car for the task.
Remove tailgate upholstery
Raise the protective cap covering the brush arm nut
Unscrew the lever fastening nut with a 13 spanner
Remove the lever with the brush
By pressing the lock of the wire block, we disconnect the block from the connector of the motor-reducer
Use a drill to drill out the rivet located closer to the right side of the car
Remove the cleaner, removing the cleaner brackets from the rubber cushions
Installing the cleaner
To install the cleaner, we take a stud about 100 mm long with an M6 thread.
Bend the end of the stud 25 mm long at a right angle and screw the nut onto the bent end.
Manufactured stud for fastening the gearmotor
We place the bent end of the stud behind the door mounting panel
We bring the bent end of the stud out of the hole in which the rivet was previously installed.
Apply a soapy solution to the two hollows of the cleaner bracket
We put these cleaner cavities into rubber cushions riveted to the door
And put the third rubber cushion on the hairpin
We put on the washer, twist and tighten the nut with M6 thread for fastening the cleaner.
To set the gearmotor shaft to its original position, connect the wire block to the gearmotor.
We connect the negative terminal to the battery, turn on the gear motor with the steering column switch, then turn it off and wait for the gear motor shaft to stop
In this position, set the brush arm so that it is horizontal and directed towards the right side of the car.
