Installing the intake camshaft of the rear head of the block

The 1MZ-FE engine is a six-cylinder, V-twin, 3-litre, DOHC, 24-valve engine developed from the previous generation Camry 1MZ-FE engine (Table 1)

Checking and adjusting the thermal clearances of the 1mz-fe engine valves

Using a 5mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts and remove the motor protection cover

If the headlights or other electrical components are not working, check the fuses

Loosen the alternator mounting bolt, unscrew the nut and remove the generator bracket No. 2

Checking the voltage regulator relay

Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity between diodes F and B (fig. 1)
