If the headlights or other electrical components are not working, check the fuses

Loosen the alternator mounting bolt, unscrew the nut and remove the generator bracket No. 2

Checking the voltage regulator relay

Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity between diodes F and B (fig. 1)

When the engine is warmed up to operating temperature and turned off, check the oil level on the dipstick (fig. 1)
