Replace thermal screens if they are severely deformed
Tools will be required: wrenches for 10 and 12, socket head for 10
To remove the thermal screens of the collector, unscrew the four bolts securing the upper thermal screen and remove the upper thermal screen
We unscrew the four bolts securing the lower thermal screen
Remove the lower protective screen from the collector
Install the collector screens in reverse order

We unscrew the three fastening nuts and remove the heat shield of the exhaust pipe
Install the exhaust pipe thermal screen in reverse order
When installing the thermal screen, the arrow on the thermal screen must be directed forward
To remove the thermal shields of the additional silencer, remove the additional silencer as described in previous articles
We unscrew the three fastening nuts and remove the front thermal screen of the additional muffler from the studs of the body base
We unscrew the four mounting bolts and remove the rear thermal screen of the additional muffler from the fuel tank
Install the front and rear thermal screens of the additional muffler in reverse order
The arrows on the thermal screens should point forward
To remove the thermal screen of the main muffler, remove the main muffler
We unscrew the front, middle and rear mounting bolts and remove the thermal screen of the main muffler
Install the thermal screen of the main muffler in reverse order
The arrow on the thermal screen must point forward
