Remove the collector to replace or to replace the sealing gasket of the collector
A possible reason for the failure of the collector may be the use of leaded gasoline and oil with a high content of sulfur and phosphorus
We prepare the car and install it on a viewing ditch or lift
Remove engine mudguards
Remove the decorative engine cover
Remove the upper thermal screen of the collector
Compress the clamps and disconnect the block of wires of the oxygen concentration sensor screwed into the collector
We unscrew the two fastening nuts and disconnect the flanges of the collector and the exhaust pipe
We unscrew the bolts securing the right and left brackets of the collector to the cylinder block
We unscrew the five fastening nuts, and remove the collector and the gasket installed under it from the studs of the cylinder head
Replace the gasket of the collector with a new one
Install the collector and all parts in reverse order
Tighten the collector mounting nuts in the sequence shown in the figure, with a torque of 37 Nm
We replace the sealing ring between the flanges of the collector and the exhaust pipe with a new one
