K-151, K-151D carburetors are installed on engines of model 402 and 4021.

The K-151 carburetor (Fig. 1) consists of three main detachable parts connected through sealing gaskets with screws

Removing and installing water pump

The water pump is removed for access to other parts, as well as for its repair or replacement if noise occurs during operation, the level of which exceeds the usual level and which appears when a large radial play of the pump shaft is formed

Remove the engine screen. Relieve pressure in the power system

We check the health of the injector windings with the ignition off

Knock sensor (0261231046 Bosch or GT 305) piezoelectric type mounted on the engine block under the intake manifold of the fourth cylinder

If you need to repair the cylinder head of the engine installed on the car, remove it as described in the article "How to replace the VAZ-2123 cylinder head gasket"

Usually, oil seals are changed due to oil leakage from under the seals or when repairing the engine

Remove fan drive belt

Loosen the two bolts securing the generator to the bracket

The arrangement of the centrifugal oil filter is shown in fig. 1.

Washing parts of the centrifugal oil filter made of aluminum alloy is not allowed in an aggressive environment

If there are signs of oil leakage through the crankshaft seals, first check if the crankcase ventilation system is clogged and if its hoses are pinched, repair if necessary
