Remove the thermostat for inspection or replacement

A sign of thermostat replacement is an unstable temperature regime - overheating or insufficient warming up of the engine

To check the thermostat on the car, start a cold engine and touch the right (outlet) radiator hose - it should be cold.

After the coolant temperature reaches 80º C, the hose should heat up quickly, this indicates the beginning of the circulation of the liquid in a large circle.

If this does not happen, and the coolant temperature sensor and the engine control unit are OK, you need to replace the thermostat.
