Preparing the car for work. We install the car on a viewing ditch or lift
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
To do the job, you will need tools: wrenches for 8, 13, TORX T20, a flat-blade screwdriver.
We unscrew the three bolts securing the lower part of the bumper
Remove taillights
Turning out the cores of the caps
Pry off the caps with a screwdriver
Removing the bumper clips
Figure 6 shows the location of the clips for the side mounting of the rear bumper.
We also take out the clips of the side fastening of the bumper on the right side of the car.
We unscrew the two screws securing the rear mudguard of the rear wheel to the rear bumper from below
We unscrew the two screws of the rear mounting of the rear mudguard of the left rear wheel.
Also remove the screws securing the rear mudguard to the rear bumper on the right side of the vehicle.
Remove the license plate lights.
On hatchback and station wagon vehicles, the license plate lights are located on the tailgate, so they do not need to be removed.
We press the bumper holders on the right and left
We press the fastening holder in the middle part of the bumper
On the left and right sides of the car, together with an assistant, lifting the bumper up and removing the plastic holders of the upper part from the holes in the body brackets, remove the bumper.
We unscrew three fastening nuts on each side of the rear bumper amplifier
Removing the amplifier
Install parts in reverse order.
