The front bumpers of the Gazelle car come in different types
Let's consider the dismantling of two types of bumpers
This is a pre-2003 bumper and a pre-2003 bumper
The bumper and bumper reinforcement of a car manufactured since 2003 are removed in the following order
We unscrew the two screws of the central fastening of the bumper.
Using a screwdriver to pry off two plugs of the bolts of the side mounting of the bumper
Remove these plugs.
We unscrew the bolt of the side fastening of the bumper.
We also unscrew the side mounting bolt on the other side
We turn off two nuts on both sides of the lower bumper mount
Remove the front bumper
We unscrew the two bolts of the bumper amplifier
Removing the bumper amplifier
We remove the bumper and bumper amplifier of a car manufactured before 2003 in the following order
Using the “13” key, we unscrew the nut of the bumper side mount
Remove two rubber washers and a spacer from the bumper stud.
Prying off with a screwdriver, remove two plastic plugs from the bumper.
With a key or a “12” head, we unscrew the three bumper mounting bolts.
Special washers.
Remove the bumper from the car
In order to remove the amplifier "B" of the front bumper, we turn out two bolts on each side "A" of its fastening
Install bumpers and bumper amplifiers in reverse order.
