The vacuum of the air conditioning system is necessary when changing the refrigerant or replacing defective or damaged parts of the air conditioning system
The refrigerant in the system is under high pressure, so care must be taken when depleting the system.
To bleed the refrigerant from the air conditioning system, unscrew the protective cap of the low pressure pipeline valve.
Using a special key for the tire valve, we unscrew the valve spool, bleeding the refrigerant from the system
We also bleed the pressure in the system from the high pressure pipeline valve
At the end of the discharge of the system, we wrap the valve spools
Removing the air conditioning compressor
Remove the compressor for replacement or repair.
In order to remove the compressor, you need to release the pressure in the air conditioning system.
After that, remove the front mudguard of the engine compartment for this:
With a head of 13, we unscrew the four bolts securing the pallet
Remove protection
With a head of 8, we turn off five self-tapping screws
Remove the front mudguard
Remove the air conditioning compressor drive belt for this:
Using a 13 head, loosen the two bolts securing the tension roller bracket
Turn the adjusting bolt with a 13 head, loosening the belt counterclockwise
Remove the belt from the tension roller and pulleys of the compressor and crankshaft
When installing the belt on the compressor pulley, we put it on so that it is located closer to the inner edge of the pulley
After that;
Using an 8 hexagon, unscrew the mounting plate screw air conditioning compressor hoses.
Remove the mounting plate and hoses.
The connection between the hose ends and the compressor is sealed with rubber rings.
The diameters of the outlet and inlet hose fittings are different, so the mounting plate is installed in the same position
With a 13 head, we unscrew the three bolts securing the compressor to the cylinder block bracket
Remove the compressor together with the wiring harness from the bracket of the cylinder block
Disconnect the wiring harness block from the compressor connector
Install the compressor in reverse order. After that, we charge the air conditioning system.
