To prevent sudden failure of the brake system, carefully check the condition of all pipelines and hoses
The hoses and cuffs of the brake system, regardless of their condition, must be replaced with new ones after one hundred thousand kilometers or 7 years of operation.
Hoses and pipelines with mechanical damage (abrasion, delamination, cracking) must be replaced.
It is more convenient to work on a viewing ditch.
We drain the brake fluid from the rear circuit (see the article - Bleeding the brake system, replacing the brake fluid).
Holding the hose tip with the “17” key, unscrew the tube tip with the “12” key.
Using pliers, remove the lock washer and remove the hose tip from the bracket hole
Holding the tee with the “14” key, unscrew the second hose tip with the “17” key
Remove the hose
Install the new hose in reverse order, and then bleed the system.
