To pump out the remaining fuel, you need to remove the fuel module and pump out the remaining fuel through the hole in the tank.
We prepare the car and install it on a viewing ditch or lift
We reduce the pressure in the fuel system, as indicated in the article "Checking and reducing the fuel pressure of the 2AZ-FE engine of a Toyota Camry car"
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery
Remove the fuel module as described in the previous article
We unscrew the two bolts (A) and two nuts (B) on the left and right sides and pull down the left and right parking brake cable
Remove the additional muffler, as described in the article "How to replace mufflers and muffler suspension pads Toyota Camry"
Remove the thermal screen of the additional muffler from the fuel tank
Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the adsorber pipe of the fuel vapor recovery system
We install a reliable support under the tank
We unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel tank clamps to the base of the body in its rear part and release the tank down a little to open access to the filling pipe and the air outlet pipe
Disconnect the filling pipe and the air outlet pipe from the fuel tank by loosening the fastening clamps
Install the fuel tank in reverse order
After connecting the fuel pump pipelines, fill in gasoline, start the engine and check the tightness of all connections
