Removing, adjusting and installing the clutch pedal travel sensor

Handle the clutch pedal travel sensor with care.

Stem movement is only allowed when adjusting dimension X (see fig. 14).

Clutch pedal travel sensor: 1 - sensor body, 2 - stem

Disconnect the clutch pedal travel sensor connector.

Turn the clutch pedal travel sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise.

Remove the clutch pedal travel sensor.

The clutch pedal travel sensor must be replaced if the stem has been separated from the sensor or if more than three changes of the X dimension were required for adjustment.

Measure the X dimension of the protrusion of the stem.

If the X dimension is less than 17mm, adjust it by gently pulling on the stem end.

The X dimension must be between 17 mm (min) and 18 mm (max).

Press the clutch pedal with your hand.

Install the clutch pedal travel sensor on the pedal assembly.

Lock the clutch pedal travel sensor by turning it 1/4 turn clockwise.

When returning the clutch pedal to its original position, support it with your hand.

The clutch pedal travel sensor adjusts automatically depending on the position of the pedal.

Clicking through fixed positions can be heard during automatic adjustment.

Connect the connector.
