Remove the ignition module and check if the engine does not start or works intermittently

You will need a tester or ohmmeter

Removing and installing ignition module

Disconnect the high-voltage wire lugs from the ignition module.

Removing and installing ignition module

Measure the resistance of the secondary winding by connecting an ohmmeter to the high voltage terminals of the ignition module.

Secondary resistance should be approximately 7.0 kΩ.

Repeat the test for pins "2" and "3".

Removing and installing ignition module

If at least one secondary winding resistance is not as specified, replace the ignition module.

Reconnect the high voltage wires.

Lubricate the high-voltage wire lugs with grease before installation.

The manufacturer recommends "FLUORINE GREASE" (catalog number 82 00168 855), but technical petroleum jelly can also be used
