If the receiver gasket is damaged, the engine will run unstable (triple).

Additional air sucked in through a damaged gasket will prevent a proper air-fuel mixture.

If the gasket is broken, there may be pops in the muffler.

If the gasket between the flanges of the receiver and the intake pipe is damaged, normal engine operation cannot be achieved, since additional air sucked into the intake pipe does not allow the engine control system to provide the optimal composition of the combustible mixture required for each engine operation mode.

If it is not possible to eliminate air leakage by tightening the nuts securing the receiver to the intake pipe, replace its gasket.

Let's consider the removal of the receiver with a cable-controlled throttle assembly.

Removing the throttle assembly with an electric drive from the electronic pedal is discussed in the article - How to remove and install the throttle assembly with an electric drive of a Chevrolet Niva car

Other operations are basically the same

You will need: a 13 wrench (more convenient than a socket), a screwdriver.
