Preparing the car for the task
Remove
Unscrew the two screws securing the front panel
After moving the front seats, unscrew the two screws securing the panel
Remove the front panel along with the two seat heating switches
Remove the lever panel
We unscrew the two screws and remove the central panel, taking it out by the central part by hand
Disconnect the power socket connector from the center panel
Unscrew the four screws and remove the console from the bracket
Remove the movement cable and the closing cable
Remove the control cable clip and pin from the selector lever
Unscrew the bolts securing the selector lever and disconnect the connector
Remove the selector lever assembly
Remove the clamp and unscrew the collar nuts from the sides of the gearbox
Remove the transmission control cable
Remove the movement cable and the closing cable
Installation
Apply a light coat of lubricant to the inside of the adjusting sleeve.
Lubricant: SAE SAEJ310, NLGI No. 0
Move the selector lever and the transmission range switch to position N and install the transmission control cable.
When connecting the control cable to the transmission mounting bracket, install the clamp so that it contacts the control cable in the position shown in the illustration.
Install the selector lever assembly and connect the connector.
When connecting the control cable to the selector lever mounting bracket, position the clip so that it contacts the control cable.
Install the control cable, the lock cable and the mounting bolt of the travel cable.
Install the console and install the eight screws.
Connect the power socket, install the center panel and screw in the two screws.
Install the lever panel.
Set to cent panel, two switches for the seat heater.
