Using an expander, install the inner spring ring of the driven control shaft and install the driven shaft into the steering column housing (Fig. 1)

Checking the main switch

Check for continuity between the main power window switch terminals

Install the camshaft in the bed of the cylinder head

Measure the axial clearance with an indicator when moving the camshafts back and forth (Fig. 1)
