Put the car on a two-post lift
Disconnect the battery
Install a tool on the brake pedal to reduce the amount of brake fluid escaping.
For work, you will need a special key for 11 to unscrew the nuts of the pipelines.
Drain the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir.
Remove soundproofing
Let's fold back the retaining bracket of the wiring harness block
Disconnect the block from the connector of the hydroelectronic module
We unscrew the bolts of the hydroelectronic unit bracket
We unscrew the nut of the pipeline of the main brake cylinder and carefully move the pipeline to the side
We unscrew the pipelines of the working cylinders in series, while carefully removing the tubes from the ABS valve body
Unscrew the second pipeline of the master cylinder
Remove the ABS hydroelectronic module.
Install
We connect the brake pipelines and bait a few turns, making sure that the union nuts turn correctly along the thread, after that we just use the wrench.
Having started all the pipelines, without tightening them, we fasten the valve body bracket with bolts.
After that, we tighten the pipelines.
Torque tighten:
- - bolts for fastening the valve body bracket (6.5 Nm);
- - nuts for fastening pipelines on the hydroblock (14 Nm);
- - bolts for fastening the hydraulic unit to the bracket (8 Nm).
Bleeding the brake system
Depending on the configuration, on some vehicles, you will have to remove other parts and assemblies to approach the ABS unit.
