Disassembling the input shaft of automatic transmission DPO (AL4)
Disassembly of automatic transmission DPO (AL4) we have considered in the article "Disassembly of automatic transmission ".
We install the input shaft in the press and, using the tool, press the piston to release the retaining ring (Fig. 1)
Remove the retainer ring of the piston retainer, remove the fixture and take out the retainer itself (Fig. 2)
Remove the return spring and piston.
Then, pressing again with a hydraulic press, remove the retaining ring of the E2 clutch housing, and remove the clutch and the package of friction discs of the first and reverse gears (Fig. 3).
We crimp again with tool 1 and remove the retaining ring of the clutch package E1 (Fig. 4).
We take out the piston itself.
When repairing an automatic transmission, a package of friction discs (Fig. 5), pistons with retainers, and sealing rings are changed on the shaft.
Using a puller, we press out the input shaft sleeve (Fig. 6)
We press in a new input shaft sleeve using a hydraulic press (Fig. 7)
We assemble the input shaft of the automatic transmission in the reverse order.
