Disconnect the negative battery terminal
After turning off the power, wait at least 1 minute for the airbag activator capacitor to discharge
Removing the driver's airbag.
To work, you will need TORX T15, T50 keys and screwdrivers.
Set the steering wheel to the position shown in the picture
Unscrew the airbag module mounting screw
Set aside the pillow module for the length of the wires
Pull back the pad retainer
Disconnect the block from the airbag module
Also detach the second pad
Remove the airbag module assembly with the steering wheel pad
Remove the steering wheel
Remove the steering column cover
Remove the paddle shifter holder
The holder of the steering column switches is made as one piece with the slip ring and is a non-separable element.
Warning:
When switching on the ignition for the first time after installing the airbag, you must be outside the vehicle.
Turn on the ignition switch by reaching out under the steering column
Removing the front passenger airbag
Disconnect the negative terminal and wait at least 60 seconds after disconnection.
Remove the glovebox
Pull back the cushion pad retainer
Disconnect the block from the airbag module
We unscrew the screw securing the security module to the instrument panel amplifier
Remove the front passenger airbag module from under the instrument panel.
Install the front passenger airbag and all removed parts in reverse order
The airbag module must not be disassembled. Avoid exposure to temperatures above 95˚ C.
