Remove the stabilizer to replace its rod if damaged or to replace its mounting pads. You will need: keys "for 17", "for 13"
Unscrew the four nuts of the brackets securing the stabilizer to the front axle gearbox
Remove both staples.
Unscrew the nuts of the brackets securing the stabilizer to the side members of the body
Remove the nuts of the stabilizer bar brackets to the lower front suspension arms and remove the brackets
Remove the stabilizer and inspect it
Signs of rubber aging, mechanical damage, wear of internal surfaces in contact with the stabilizer are not allowed on the pillows.
Replace defective pillows.
To facilitate the installation of new pads on the stabilizer bar, lubricate the bar with a saturated soapy solution.
Install the stabilizer in the reverse order of removal.
