Remove the steering knuckle to replace or repair the front suspension

You will need: two "18" keys, a "30" socket head, TORX T30 and T40, a wrench, a wrench for wheel bolts.

Brake the vehicle with the parking brake and place wheel chocks (“chocks”) under the rear wheels.

Loosen the hub nut and wheel bolts.

Raise the front of the car with a jack and place it on stands.

Remove the wheel. Loosen and tighten the wheel bolts and hub nut only when the vehicle is on the ground.

Remove the front wheel brake caliper assembly (see "Replacing Renault Logan Caliper and Disc") without disconnecting the brake hose, and secure it with wire without twisting or pulling the hose.

Remove the nut and remove the tie-rod end ball joint pin from the steering knuckle boss.

Remove the brake disc

Remove the three bolts securing the brake shield to the steering knuckle and remove it.

Remove the hub nut

Unscrew the nuts of the bolts securing the steering knuckle to the shock absorber strut and remove the bolts

Remove the ball joint pin from the steering knuckle.

Remove the steering knuckle from the CV joint shank.

Install parts in reverse order of removal
