Remove bracket
Put the car on a two-post lift
Drain the refrigerant circuit.
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the A/C compressor.
Disconnect the refrigerant pressure sensor wiring harness.
Disconnect the piping from the A/C compressor and the air conditioning piping between the compressor and the receiver-drier (fig. 1).
Be sure to plug the openings of the piping and reducer to prevent moisture from entering the system.
Remove the A/C compressor mounting bolts.
Remove the A/C compressor.
Unscrew the bolts securing the multifunctional bracket (Fig. 2.)
Remove the multi-function bracket.
Installing the bracket
Install the multi-function bracket.
Tighten the bolts and nuts to the correct torque.
Install the generator.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Connect the battery.
Fill the refrigerant circuit with refrigerant.
Check the operation of the air conditioner.
