Disconnect the battery
Remove the drawer frame by depressing the spring clips (fig. 1)
Remove the drawer by depressing the spring latch with a flathead screwdriver (fig. 2).
Disconnect the wiring harness from the yaw and lateral acceleration sensor.
Unscrew the sensor mounting nuts and remove it.
Handle the transducer with care.
Install
Be sure to install the sensor in the direction of the vehicle (in the direction of the arrow in Figure 3).
An impacted sensor must be replaced.
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the angular and lateral acceleration sensor mounting nuts to the required torque of 8 Nm.
Connect the battery.
If the yaw and lateral acceleration sensor is replaced, perform the necessary operations using the diagnostic tool.
