If the test confirms the failure of the ball joint, replace it
You will need: two 16" wrenches, a flat-blade screwdriver
Raise and support the front of the car on stands.
Remove the wheel.
Slow down the car with the parking brake and install wheel chocks (“boots”) under the rear wheels.
Loosen and tighten the wheel bolts only when the vehicle is on the ground
Remove the front suspension arm (see "Replacing the Renault Logan suspension arm» ).
Pry off the spring of the boot with a screwdriver and remove the fixing ring of the protective boot of the ball joint.
Remove the protective cover.
Install a mandrel of a suitable size under the lever at the location of the support (the inner diameter of the mandrel should be slightly larger than the diameter of the ball joint housing) and press the ball joint out of the lever
Press in the new support.
Lubricate the ball joint with grease (such as lithol or equivalent).
Install parts in reverse order of removal
