You will need: 10" wrench, 13" wrench, flat and Phillips screwdrivers
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
Remove the five screws of the steering column cover
Remove the upper and lower shroud
Remove the steering wheel.
Remove the paddle shifters.
Remove the ignition switch (lock).
Remove the steering column shaft.
Remove the radio mounting panel.
Remove the lining of the floor tunnel.
Remove the A-pillar upholstery.
You may need new wire harness ties when installing the instrument panel, as in some places they are easier to cut than disconnect.
When disconnecting wiring harness blocks, mark them relative to each other.
This will make it easier to install the instrument panel.
Mark loose pads separately.
Disconnect the instrument panel harness connector located near the accelerator pedal.
Disconnect the harness connectors from the brake light switch and the vehicle's anti-theft control unit.
Disconnect the three instrument panel harness connectors located behind the mounting block.
Remove the screw and disconnect the ground wire from the body.
Open the hood.
Remove the windshield trim and wiper mechanism.
Remove the outside air filter
Remove the screws securing the air intake housing.
Drain some of the coolant (see "Coolant Replacement") and disconnect the heater radiator pipes.
Remove the bolt securing the panel cross member to the rack.
Remove the strut-to-bracket bolt and remove the crossbar strut
Remove the four bolts securing the instrument panel cross member to the steering shaft bracket
Remove the bolts of the instrument panel side mountings (left and right).
Remove the instrument panel insert.
Remove the bolts located at the front of the instrument panel along the lower edge of the windshield
Remove the front interior heating duct
Remove the instrument panel assembly with heater and wiring harness
Install the instrument panel and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
Add fluid to the cooling system.
