Removing the filter from the body

Install the filter in reverse order
Since 2009, the filter has been installed on the right side of the air intake under a plastic cover.
The cover is installed on the sealant and secured with a self-tapping screw.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the cover fastening screw

Remove the cover

Pry off the old filter element with a screwdriver

Remove the replacement element from the filter housing
When installing the filter element, orient it so that the foam rubber glued to it is located on top.
Before installing the cover, apply sealant along its contour.
On new models, you can also do this:

In order not to use the sealant, unscrew the five screws securing the air intake cover

We take the edge of the air intake cover and lift its corner

On the sides of the filter box, the filter element is fixed with two clamps

Retracting the clamps, we take out the filter of the air entering the passenger compartment
We clean the inside of the filter box with a vacuum cleaner and assemble everything in reverse order.
