Removing and installing oil cooler
The oil cooler is installed in front of the radiator of the engine cooling system and is connected to the lubrication system with rubber hoses
You will need: 12 wrench, flat blade screwdriver.
Remove the four mounting bolts and remove the upper radiator shield.
Remove the four bolts securing the right side shield
Remove the shield.
Remove the two oil cooler mounting bolts on the left side
Remove the two screws on the right side
Remove the oil cooler.
To prevent oil from leaking out of the hoses and oil cooler during disconnection, lift the radiator with the hoses up and carefully separate the hoses.
Loosen the radiator hose clamps and remove the hoses
Install the radiator in the reverse order of removal
Replacing the pressure reducing valve and oil cooler valve
The pressure reducing valve is mounted on an adapter screwed into the oil line of the cylinder block on its right side.
In turn, the oil cooler tap is screwed into the threaded hole of the valve body.
You will need: keys "for 14", "for 19", "for 22", "for 24".
While holding the radiator valve from turning, unscrew the fitting of the radiator inlet hose and disconnect the hose.
For convenience, remove the oil filter.
Remove the tap from the pressure reducing valve body
While holding the adapter from turning, unscrew the pressure reducing valve from it.
Install the valve and valve in the reverse order of removal, lubricating their threaded parts with sealant.
