We remove the throttle assembly for cleaning and when removing cylinder head assemblies
Remove the engine screen.
Disconnect the engine control harness connectors from the throttle position sensor and idle speed controller (see "Replacing the idle speed controller").
Disconnect the throttle cable from the assembly sector.
Partially drain the coolant from the engine to the level of the throttle assembly heater.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the nozzle of the throttle assembly and the clamp securing the hose of the main crankcase ventilation circuit to the fitting of the cylinder head cover.
Remove the air supply hose from the nozzle of the throttle assembly and the hose of the main crankcase ventilation circuit from the fitting of the cylinder head cover.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the hose clamp for the additional crankcase ventilation circuit hose.
Remove the hose from the nozzle of the throttle assembly.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, we loosen the clamps for fastening the hoses for supplying and discharging coolant.
Remove the hoses from the fittings of the throttle assembly.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the clamp securing the canister purge hose.
Remove the hose from the nozzle of the throttle assembly
With a “13” head, unscrew the two nuts securing the throttle assembly to the receiver
Remove the throttle assembly from the receiver studs (a gasket is installed in the groove of the receiver flange).
If the gasket has lost its elasticity or is damaged, it must be replaced with a new one.
Install the throttle assembly in reverse order (nut tightening torque 15-20 Nm).
Add coolant.
