Variants

The car can be equipped with three types of power window switches on the driver's door:

  • - for power windows of the driver and passenger doors;
  • - for the driver's door impulse window and the front passenger's conventional power window;
  • - for impulse power windows on the driver's and front passenger's doors.

The car can be equipped with two types of power window switches on the passenger door:

  • - for a conventional power window;
  • – for an impulse power window.

All rear door window switches are pulse type.

Conventional power window

The power window motors are supplied through a switch that also reverses the supply voltage (to raise or lower the window).

Pulse electric window

The power window switch has the following positions:

  • – first fixed position for lifting, ground connection of the lifting chain (continuous lifting);
  • - the second fixed position for lifting, grounding the lifting chain and the lowering chain (impulse lifting to the uppermost position);
  • – first fixed position for lowering, ground connection of the lowering circuit (continuous lowering);
  • – the second fixed position for lowering, grounding the lowering chain and the lifting chain (impulse lowering to the lowest position).

Use a slotted screwdriver to pry off the trim of the power window control unit

Remove the trim from the opening of the front door upholstery for the length of the wiring harness

Press the wire block retainer

Disconnect the block from the control unit

Press the lock of the key block

Retrieve the block from the overlay opening

Install the block in reverse order

Removing the power window

Remove the front door trim

Disconnect the glass from the power window and fix it in the upper position with adhesive tape.

Press out the latch

Remove the door lock assembly with the base of the handle

We unscrew the four screws securing the power window to the front door

Remove the power window through the technological hole

Install the power window and all parts in reverse order

Replacing the power window gearmotor

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove the power window

Unscrew the three screws securing the gearmotor

Removing the gearmotor

Install in reverse order.

Removing the front passenger door power window switch panel

The front passenger's window control panel is spring-loaded to the door handle.

Remove the upper part of the door handle (fig. 2).

Disconnect the power window switch from the panel.

Removing the rear power window switch panel

The rear power window switches are secured to the panel with spring clips.

Remove the screws securing the switch panel to the door panel.

Removing the tailgate switch panel

Remove the switch from the panel (fig. 3).
