We remove the subframe to dismantle the gearbox and other components of the power unit and front suspension
It is more convenient to remove and install the subframe on a lift
You will need: wrenches "for 10", "for 13", "for 16", "for 18", TORX ТЗ0, a socket head "for 18", a screwdriver with a flat blade.
Remove mudguards and crankcase protection.
Remove the downpipe.
Remove the catalytic converter bracket from the cushion.
If the pillow is stuck to the bracket, pry it off with a screwdriver.
Remove the three bolts securing the front bumper to the subframe
Remove the two bolts securing the power unit rear suspension bracket and remove it.
Remove the two bolts securing the steering gear to the subframe
Remove the tie rod upper mounting bolt and remove the lower mounting nut
remove traction
Remove the bolt securing the power steering tube holder and move the tube a little to the side
Remove the pinch bolt nut of the knuckle-to-ball joint
Remove the pinch bolt
Slightly open the terminal with a screwdriver, remove the ball joint pin from the steering knuckle
Similarly, remove the ball joint pin from the steering knuckle on the other side of the car
Install supports under the subframe
Remove the front and rear mounting bolts, then remove the subframe assembly with anti-roll bar and front suspension arms
Remove the anti-roll bar (see "Replacing the Renault Logan suspension stabilizer").
Remove the arms (see "Replacing the Renault Logan suspension arm")
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the front and rear subframe mounting bolts to 105 Nm (10.5 kgf-m), the tie rod mounting bolt to 21 Nm (2.1 kgf-m), the tie rod mounting nut and the steering knuckle terminal connection pinch bolt nut with ball joint - 62 Nm (6.2 kgf-m), rear support bracket mounting bolts - 65 Nm (6.5 kgf-m).
