We remove the power steering pump for replacement or repair
You will need: socket head "13", pliers, key for pipelines "17".
Remove the accessory drive belt (see "Replacing Renault Logan Drive Belts").
Loosen the inlet hose clamp by squeezing its bent ears with pliers, and slide the clamp along the hose
Disconnect the hose from the pump fitting.
Remove the nut securing the pressure pipe and move the pipe to the side.
The connection of the pipeline to the pump is sealed with a rubber ring, which must be replaced at each disconnection.
Take measures to prevent leakage of the working fluid from the pipeline and hose, plugging them, for example, with wooden plugs
Remove the rear pump mounting bolt
Remove the front pump mounting bolt through the hole in the pulley
Turn the pulley and remove the second front mounting bolt
Remove the power steering pump.
Install the pump in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the pump mounting bolts and the pressure pipe mounting nut to a torque of 21 Nm (2.1 kgf-m).
Bleed the power steering system (see "Bleeding the Renault Logan Power Steering System").
