Removing the power window
Remove the door upholstery (see the article - Removing the door upholstery).
We lower the glass to the middle position and with the “10” head we unscrew the two bolts securing the glass to the power window link.
Raise the glass to the top position and fix it (for example, with adhesive tape).
Using the “10” key, we unscrew the three bolts securing the window regulator gear
We turn off the nuts of the upper fastening of the power window
We turn off the nuts of the lower mounting of the power window.
Disconnect the inner handle rod from the lock (see Removing the front door lock). We take out the power window from the door.
Install the power window in reverse order, lubricating the cables, roller axles and gearbox gears with any grease
Replacing front door glass
Raise the glass to the top position.
Remove the door upholstery.
Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the guide groove (at the end of the door).
Remove the groove from the door.
We lower the glass to the middle position and with the “10” head (holding the glass with your hand) unscrew the two bolts securing the glass to the power window link.
Lower the glass down (inside the door).
Remove the rubber glass seal.
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screw of the upper rack mount
Using a “10” head with an extension, unscrew the bolt of the lower rack mount
Tilting the fixed glass together with the stand
Remove the glass with the seal.
We lower the rack inside the door and bring it out through the opening
Remove the sliding glass from the door, bringing it out from the outside of the glass frame
Install the glass in reverse order.
For convenience, remove the cover of the outside rear-view mirror.
Removing the front door
The door can be removed assembled or disassembled.
Remove the outside rearview mirror, door trim, lock, power window and both windows
Using thin pliers, we unpin the door stop roller.
Remove the roller.
With a “10” head, we unscrew the two bolts securing the limiter.
Remove the limiter from the inner cavity of the door
Using a key or a “12” head, we unscrew the four hinge bolts
Remove the door
We install the door in the reverse order, lubricating the parts of the limiter and the hinge with any grease.
