Periodically, it is necessary to remove the filter element and clean it of dust by vigorously shaking it or blowing it with compressed air in the direction opposite to the air movement during engine operation.
Replacing the filter element of the ZMZ-402 engine air filter
Using a screwdriver, we loosen the clamp of the crankcase exhaust hose
Remove the crankcase exhaust hose.
We snap off the five spring clips securing the air filter cover
Remove the cover.
