Removing the gear shift mechanism is discussed in the article – “Gearbox Repair”.
Use a marker to mark the relative positions of the washers and the guide plate of the mechanism.
Using the head "on 10" unscrew the two nuts securing the reverse gear locking plate, holding the bolts with a wrench of the same size
Remove the locking plate.
After unscrewing another nut, remove the lower washer of the guide plates.
Having removed one guide bar with two springs, remove the guide plate from the lower end of the lever
Removing the upper washer of the guide plate
Removing the gear shift lever housing
Removing the rubber sealing rings of the bolts from the grooves in the housing
Remove the lower gasket of the ball joint housing.
Remove the flange with a protective cover
Remove the upper housing gasket.
Use pliers to remove the retaining ring.
Remove the washer and spring.
Removing the spherical washer
Disconnecting the lever and the ball joint housing
After checking and replacing worn parts, assemble the gear shift mechanism in the reverse order
