Cylinder head disassembly

Remove the engine lifting eyes (fig. 1).

The starter can be turned on if the range switch is in the "P" (parking) or "N" (neutral) position (Fig. 1.)

In the "P" (parking) position of the range switch, the front wheels are mechanically blocked from rotation.

Removing and installing Mazda 3 oil cooler

The oil cooler is non-separable, if it malfunctions or coolant leaks from the seal, we replace it

To remove the hood hinge, remove the following items:

Drive shafts transmit torque from the engine, gearbox and differential to the front wheels

In the gearbox housing, the drive shafts are splined to the side gears of the differential

Adjusting the Mazda 3 automatic transmission range switch

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable (fig. 1).
