Steering column switches

The car uses two steering column switches mounted on the steering column

On some cars, the horn is turned on by the turn signal and headlight switch, and on some cars, by the wiper and washer switch.

Left turn signal switch

The switch automatically returns to position I or II after the turn is completed. A - non-fixed position of the lever for short-term activation of the direction indicator.

Moving the lever from position I towards you to the unlocked position will turn on the high beam headlights as long as the lever is held in this position.

Scheme of operation of the steering column switches: a - left switch of direction indicators, headlights (sound signal); I - dipped headlights (if the handle of the central light switch is pulled out to the stop); II - high beam headlights (if the handle of the central light switch is pulled out to the stop); V or III - left turn is on; VI or IV - right turn enabled.

b - Right wiper switch, washer (horn); 0 - wiper off; I - low windshield wiper speed is on; II - high wiper speed is on; III - the wiper works intermittently.

Audible signal (option 1) is activated by pressing the lever button from any position.

For a switch without a sound signal (option 1), moving the lever towards you (in the direction of the arrow) from position 0 briefly turns on the washer and wiper.

For a switch with a sound signal (option 2), the washer and wiper are briefly turned on by moving the lever away from position 0 (arrow B).

The sound signal is turned on by moving the lever from any position towards you (along the arrow C).

Washer and horn can be turned on at any position of the lever.
