We remove the air filter for replacement, as well as for access to other parts and components of the power plant
You will need a TORX EI4 socket.
Preparing the car for work
Opening the hood
The air filter housing can be removed together with the filter element
Disconnect the air inlet hose from the air filter housing and the car body, remove the hose.
Remove the three air filter mounting bolts.
Remove the last mounting bolt located at the back on the right.
Hold the throttle assembly and lift up on the air filter to separate them
Lift up the air filter, disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from its nozzle and remove the air filter
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
